You can delete your KickOff account and your data at any time, from inside the app. This page explains how to do it and exactly what happens to your information.
Deletion happens immediately. You will be signed out and will not be able to sign in again with that email address.
If you cannot access the app, email hello@kickoffsocialapp.co.uk from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
Some information is part of other players' records as well as yours. Removing you from a completed match would retro-actively change their scores, their teams and their ratings, and their history is not ours to rewrite. So instead of deleting it we take your name off it:
Payment records are kept for six years. UK tax law requires us to retain records of transactions, and a deletion request does not override that. These records contain the amount, the date and the game — never your card details, which we never receive. This is permitted under Article 17(3)(b) of the UK GDPR.
Reports of harm made about an account are kept for up to three years so that patterns of behaviour remain visible.
